Makeup 4 the Weekend #29

Hey peeps! Happy Friday!! Ready for another Makeup 4 the Weekend challenge?! Let's get to it!!

This week's Makeup Artist Challenger is the incredible Gabby Arriaza who is challenging us with this awesome color combo.... I had to make several substitutions to my creation...
...like Brocade Blue for the Buckaroo Blue and Chocolate Chip for the Close to Cocoa but that is not a problem! As you can see I did not use all the colors either which is totally optional. :) You can get more details about my card on my blog.

Gabby has been very sick and could not get a sample to us for this week but please keep her in your thoughts and if you want give her some get well wishes on her blog.

You can tell that summer is here because we only have one Makeup Artist showing off her mad coloring skills so be sure to give Ms. Dawn Barrett some love! :)

Now it's YOUR time to shine!! Make a creation using any color combo from the colors listed above (substitutions are fine), link it up to Mr. Linky (direct links only please), and please mention the challenge in your blog post. That's it! You do not have to use Paper Makeup Stamps but if you've got them why not show them off! If you link up to SCS/PCP please use keyword M4TW29!!

We've also had some issues as far as people getting their cards in on time for the Thursday Showoff and we do not want to miss anyone so we are doing something new. The challenges will now run until Wednesday night at midnight EST. At that time Mr. Linky will be officially closed and all entries will be in the Thursday showoff. Sound good? I can't wait to see what you guys create!!

I hope you all have a wonderfully inky HOLIDAY weekend!!

Tina's Turn on the Celestial Possibilities "Makeup Kit"

Today is Tina's Turn to show off her mad skills with the new Celestial Possibilites "Makeup" card kit!

Here are some words from Tina...
.....

Paper Makeup Stamps is proud to announce that we will now be selling kits with exclusive images and word art. The stamps are only exlcusive until the kits sells out, at that time, they may be released at a future date. Each kit will center around a theme and all the elements of the kit will coordinate with that theme.
When I saw the brads included in the kit, I knew I wanted to make jewelry with them. I just glued a bale onto the back of the large brad and then strung it onto a rubber/ silicone necklace. Similarly, I glued earring posts onto the back of the smaller matching brads to complete the set. It's packaged in the Cutesy Cover from My Time Made Easy.

The fairy inlcuded int he kit is Celest, she is exquisite! I loved her the moment we got a glimpse of her. Here I colored her to match the beautiful KaiserCraft papers.

I added some Shimmerz to the moon and each of the stars. Ad, of course, no fairy's wings are complete without a little sparkle; here I used Stickles.
I took a different approach to coloring her skin; I used a very light violet as a deep shadow. I think it adds to her ethereal look and softens what could be a hard edge.

My second card uses word art that was released earlier this month. How fantastically does that quote sum things up?!

I just used more fun papers and ribbons (they tie like a dream), and brads included in this extraordinary kit. It's amazing what you get for the price. The stars in the quote were colored with copics and I added just a touch of Stickles for a little twinkle.

I hope you've enjoyed what I've shown you today and I hope it inspires you to have fun with this kit when you get it. Better hurry before they sell out! You can pick this kit up here at a super fabulous price!

Lisa Kind's take on the Celestial Possibilities "Makeup Kit"

Today it's Lisa Kind's turn to share a project and her thoughts on the new "Makeup Kit", Celestial Possibilities!

.......
Words from Lisa Kind
.......

Paper Makeup Stamps unveiled a new product on Thursday. We are going to be carrying card kits (and in true PMS style, we are calling them "Makeup Kits") with all the basics and embellishments that you will need to create a bevvy of beautiful cards or scrap pages! It's called Celestial Possibilities, and believe me...there are a variety of fun possibilities included in this kit!

I just love the colors that Katie picked for this kit. It really compliments the beautiful fairy image called Celest Fairy. The ribbons are scrumptious, especially that velvet ric-rac ribbon!

I just love these Beautiful Day fairies! It's what turned me on to PMS! This one I think is over the top beautiful! She's so ethereal hanging out with the moon and stars! She's colored with copic markers, and I added star dust stickles all over the image making it more ethereal. The brads have a sort of star image in the middle, matching the dp nicely. I love how shiny the ribbon looks, too! The sentiment is beautiful. Think of all the possibilities for its use: graduations, new baby, new job, etc.

You can pick up the kit HERE for only $20 (22 on ez mount)! Click on the link to view all of the contents of the kit as well!

My turn with the NEW Celestial Possibilities kit!

Hey everyone!  Hope you are having a wonderful start to your weekend!  It's Tangii here and today is my turn to play with the new Celestial Possibilities kit.  OMG! is it amazing!!!  When Katie first told us that she wanted to try a kit I was a little skeptical.  I mean most kits out there are just so "matchy-matchy" and seem to really box in my creativity... but NOT this one!!  As soon as I opened my kit the creative juices just started overflowing!  Everything in the kit coordinates VERY well, but there is still so much flexibility and so much you can do with it.  And the best part of it... there is enough of everything to let you go where your Muse takes you, but not so much of it that there are left-overs forever! lol  You can order this kit here, but you'd better hurry because quantities are limited and once they're gone, they are gone.  Here is everything you get in this kit, and all for just $20!!!!!!!!  Check in tomorrow to see Lisa K's take on this kit (I'm betting her eye candy is gonna rock!!!).
Kit

Celest the Fairy stamp (Paper Makeup Stamps)

Dwell in Possibilty stamp (PMS)
8 Sheets of 6x6 double sided patterned paper (Kaisercraft)
8 full sheets of 8.5x11 Cardstock (by Bazzill)
1 pack epoxy brads (matches paper, by Kaisercraft)
1 pack Paper Flowers (dont be fooled, flowers are stack on top of themselves, theres a lot)
4 yards of delicious ribbon (may arts)
20 star shaped brads (by Creative Impressions)
4 Star Spiral Clips (by Creative Impressions)
Hope you have a fabulously inky weekend!!

Makeup 4 the Weekend #28

Happy Friday and welcome to another Makeup 4 the Weekend challenge! You guys ROCKED last week's challenge so take it up a notch this week, shall we??

This week's Makeup Artist Challenger is the wonderful Dawn Barrett who is challenging us to alter a notebook. Shockingly, I did not have a notebook to alter so I altered this little mini binder I had instead... Everything on this binder (with the exception of the border punch and binder) is from the new Celestial Possibilities kit!! You can get more details about my celestial creation on my blog. Now check out Dawn's amazing creation...
Isn't it wonderful? I love the fun colors and Moody for Music is definitely one of my faves. Awesome job Dawn!!

Now check out more eye candy from the Makeup Artists:

Now it's YOUR time to shine!! Alter a notebook, link it up to Mr. Linky (direct links only please), and please mention the challenge in your blog post. That's it! You do not have to use Paper Makeup Stamps but if you've got them why not show them off! If you link up to SCS/PCP please use keyword M4TW28!!

I hope you all have a wonderfully inky weekend!!

A new Card Kit - FOR SALE NOW!

It's here and it's LIVE on the site!

We are doing something NEW this month!
Many many people have asked us if we would do a "card kit".
Well you asked, we've answered!

This is a tester, if you will. If there is a good response, we hope to introduce a new card kit every month to every other month. We are also open to suggestions of what you would like to see in
future card kits!

Without further ado... here is what you get in the Celestial Possibilties Card Kit...

1 Image Stamp: Celest the Fairy
1 WordArt Stamp: Dwell in Possibilty
8 Sheets of 6x6 double sided patterned paper (by Kaisercraft)
8 full sheets of 8.5x11 Cardstock (by Bazzill)
1 pack epoxy brads (matches paper, by Kaisercraft)
1 pack Paper Flowers (dont be fooled, flowers are stack on top of themselves, theres a lot)
4 yards of delicious ribbon (may arts)
20 star shaped brads (by Creative Impressions)
4 Star Spiral Clips (by Creative Impressions)

This kits retail cost is $25 but we're offering an introductory special of only $20!
(just add $2 more if you want the stamps on EZ mount,
click the product name to add the EZ Mount Option)
And not only that.... we're also including a $5 voucher towards a future order of $20 or more!

And because i know people will ask... these stamps are not being sold separately from the kit.
We may consider adding them to the PMS line at a later date, but they will not be sold separately so long as we have this kit in stock.
BUT, there is a limited quantity of this kit made up! Once we are out, we wont be restocking.
So get it while you can!

Now for the next 5 days, the senior Paper Makeup Artists are going to be showing you
what you can do with products in this kit!
Today it my turn! (you can see more details and other pictures on my blog)

Oh how i love what's in this kit, and I havent even gotten to use it all yet!
My favorite (aside from the stamps!) is that oh so yummy velvet ric rac ribbon!
Isn't it just to die for! Next up is the paper. It's just thick enough! Not too flimsy, double sided and just beautiful! But it's also not so thick that you just feel like your card is going to fall over if you put more than 1 layer on it! And then third, those epoxy brads. I dont often buy epoxy brads because they tend to be pricy. But i just couldnt help but include them in this kit!
They are from the same collection as the paper so of course they match it perfectly.
And they are just stunning on a card!

Are you ready to purchase this kit yet?
If so, check it out HERE!

1 more thing to share... if you are a fan of kits where everything is matched and ready for you
to create with wreckless abandon then check out the Caffinated Cropper Kits!
Amy has put together some wonderful kits and there is still more of the Birds of a Feather kit is STILL AVAILABLE! This kit features 2 paper makeup stamps, and one of those is one you havent even seen before! PLUS you get a $10 voucher towards a $25 purchase (hmmm... what do you know that costs about $25? Oh yeah, the celestial possibilities kit! Buy the Caffinated Cropper kit and you get that kit for only $10?! WHAT?! Thats right. Do we make money? No, but do you benefit... oh yes! hehehehe! So be sure to check her out too! She has other kits available on her sidebar!

Woot woot! It's Friday-eve!!!

It's almost the weekend and I am sooo over this whole work week concept, thing! lol  Well, it's Thursday and you know what that means!  Last week's challenge was to use 3 Flowers... here's the showoff

See you back here tomorrow for another Makeup 4 the Weekend challenge!
